We still need a lot more leaders for the new schedule. I’ve sent the draft to many people, but there may be some others out there that I’ve missed. Would you like a copy?
Are you wary of leading a trip – maybe you’re new to leading, not sure you could handle a weird situation that might arise, not sure of the navigation…basically not confident enough? One idea we’ve hit on is to have a “mentor” club member that could join your trip. They’d just take part as any other punter, but would be around to help out if you needed help.
So if you’re tempted to lead a trip and would really appreciate being sure of someone experienced to join you, please email me or give me a call. It would be all on the quiet, and hopefully enable you to have a great time leading without the worry.
