Hi all,
Thought I’d post a couple of links from my club talk last night.

The first is the LINZ Data Service, which has heaps of LINZ data (including topo maps) available for free. This can be accessed from http://data.linz.govt.nz
The Topo50 raster map layer is here: http://data.linz.govt.nz/#/layer/767-nz-raster-image-topo50/
You can crop and download pretty easily your area of interest. If you export in KML format you can load it into Google Earth and see the maps in 3D!
