Its the peak of planting season at Makara Peak and it doesn’t get any easier than the streamside sessions right next to the carpark. Feel free to throw a few plants in the ground before or after your ride this Sunday. Just think of the personal carbon emission credits you’ll gain, not to mention the warm fuzzy feeling of returning in years to come to show your children and grandchildren the forest you helped kick off.

This Sunday we’re continuing the streamside planting project by moving in on some recently cleared areas around Sth Karori stream. Starting at 10am Sunday. Meet at the Sth Karori rd carpark. Tools and lunch provided.
