Hi there,
For those who have been wondering what this Masterton Mistery trip is about: there are quite a few nice backroads in the northern Wairarapa waiting for people on bike (mostly sealed, and some dirt roads). The plan is to head out of windy Wellington to the sunny & windy Wairarapa by train on Saturday morning and retun on Sunday late afternoon (18.30 back in WN). The cycling part will probably be 4-5 hours max per day. Overnight accommodation in a cabin or bach, so no tents and cooking gear to carry around. If interested – just sign up on the club notice board; if any questions send me an email or reply on the forum as I’m probably not around on the club nights.
