Wellington Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of a visiting French male who was last known to be tramping in the Tararua Ranges.

If anyone has knowledge of the whereabouts of Arnaud ZDZIOBECK, a 25 year old male, or have seen or spoken to him since 6 May, or have his contact details can they please contact Police on (04)3812000.

Reportedly he’s now been placed in Taupo after he was due out of the Tararuas, so (while still not accounted for as I understand things) it sounds as if he made it out of the Tararuas safely enough.
