Hi,

I am looking for expressions of interest in joining my trip to Nelson Lakes NP, Feb 3-6th.

Plan is to repeat the club trip from a couple of years ago though only over three days not four (see below www link for an interesting read);

Cost is $280 and this includes return water taxi on Lake Rotoroa ($80) and Friday night at a backpackers ($26).

Keen? Let me know by Wedn 21st Dec – trip will only run if I get at least five people signed up.

Apparently Blue Lake has some of the clearest water in the world according to this article on Stuff today. http://www.stuff.co.nz/environment/6163911/NZ-lake-pure-and-crystal-clear

I can’t say I remember it looking very clear when I was there. T’was probably the weather.

Trip likely to depart Wellington on Friday Feb 3rd at 6:25pm on the Arahura & back Monday night.

Trip fare may come down by $25 if we camp at the Lake road end on Friday night.
