Hi

I am a first time user of this forum, I am visiting NZ south Island Feb 28th to March 7ish and looking to see if there is anyone who would like to do a climb, rock or mountian or even a few days treck into a mountain. Oh, I am 50 years old but pretty fit and capable.
I will be have my rock and snow gear, ropes, snow stakes etc but no ice pro, I will probably bring my rock rack also. I will have a tent and gear for overnight bivey. I will hire a camper at Christchurch so mI will have wheels.

I am only fairly new to the snow ice cliimbing but a very good learner. I currently lead on rock at OZ 13-14.

hI Sharron,

thanks heaps for responding, I am finding it pretty hard to connect to someone, But I will just head to Mount Cook Village i think and hang there and f no one is around I might just go for a little wander around. Hope you are having great climbs and thanks for the tip on the site to hit
