The club has Lodge based day trips at Mt Ruapehu Nov 21-23. I will lead an ALP1 summit bagging trip if there is sufficient interest. Also a chance to check out the crater lake, Dome shelter, not so old lahar paths and a few other legendary landmarks in the park. If you are keen come along to club and sign up or contact me direct. Should be a good chance to practice alpine skills and work on your tan in the late spring snow.
