Reminder about the meeting tonight at 7pm at the James Cook Hotel on the Terrace to discuss the report “Walking Access in the NZ Outdoors”

Ive just attended the 2pm meeting that MAF have run with stakeholders and it was quite lively and interesting. Certainly some of the farmer groups are going to strongly oppose the conclusions and recs that the report have reached (and are arguing there are no problems in public access in NZ). Recreational groups inlcuding our club are arguing that there are increasing problems with access and action needs to be taken

If you are interested I encourage you to attend the meeting tonight and express your views. (I wont be attending as ive already expressed club views at the 2pm meeting)
