Recreation in Orongorongo & Catchpool Valleys

The Poneke Area Office of DOC is asking for feedback on what recreation opportunities
people would like to see in the Rimutaka Range.

So if you?d like to see-
? Mountain biking tracks in the old logging area or up the Orongorongo River to Paua Hut
? Doc working with private land owners for MTB access to the ?Big Coast? route to the Wairarapa.
? A larger public hut for schools and groups to use
? More/less track maintenance
? Improved camping facilities at Catchpool or in the Orongorongo valley
