The WTMC Search and Rescue (SAR) squad could do with some more volunteers. Its very rewarding work, all training is provided free of charge (1st aid, GPS, navigation, helicopters, tracking, ropework). You need reasonable fitness, good outdoors experience and flexible workplace to allow time off for searches. WTMC squad members have been helping out on the current Featherston search and our Pres even managed a photo opportunity on the news last night (nice words Wayne)
