Shaun Barnett is giving a talk at the Wellington Photographic society tomorrow.

Shaun Barnett is a Wellington based outdoor writer and photographer and the editor of New Zealand Wilderness Magazine. He is specialising in natural history and the outdoors. He will give an hour-long slide show focusing on how to earn a living as a nature-photographer.

Where: 7.30pm at the Band Rotunda (on Oriental Parade, at the Fishermens Table)

As well as talking about such technical aspects of his work including film, composition, and exposure he’ll also talk about the business aspects of his work. Having skills in marketing, establishing your own niche, and being professional are as important to success, Shaun maintains, as making good images.
