Over the Xmas break there were loads of cool Club tramps. Hopefully all of them will be the subject of slide shows.

One group went to Harihari.

Harihari is a great base from which to access the Adams Wilderness Area which is home to the Gardens of Allah and Eden.

From the Gardens we discovered you can walk back to Harihari by descending from the Beezlebub icefall to Adam Flats and then heading over the Speculation and Wilberg Ranges.

One member of our party thought the Speculation and Wilberg Ranges were not unlike the Tararuas.

We are interested in your views.

Nothing else is like the Tararuas. And we can all be thankful for that….

P.S. Good name for a town, Harihari. They’ve spelt it wrong of course, but to make up for that they’ve done it twice.
