Hi,

Interested in a Waitangi weekend tramp covering a classic area of the Tararuas?

Plan is;

Friday night 2 hour tramp to Field Hut.

Saturday – up to Bridge Peak and north to Maungahuka Hut (over the Tararua Peaks so need to be happy with heights & down the ladder)

Sunday – further north to Anderson Memorial Hut

Monday – back to van via YTYY including a short stroll in the Otaki River.

Medium/Fit Trip. (Ok with 8 hour days).

This trip replaces the listed South Island Moss Pass trip which has been postponed to later in the year.
