Hi,

It is nice to see that John got some well deserved praise for his efforts as the FMC Bulletin Editor for the past 4.5 yrs.

I’d have to concur with what Shaun Barnett has to say about Johns skills as a wordsmith in the June 2008 FMC Bulletin. His inspired decision to introduce profiles of some of the interesting characters in the NZ mountains ( and to doccument a bit of history at the same time) has resulted in some great reading!
