Hi,
It looks as if there may be still be some life yet for the collective hosting of Wellington’s clubs and communities.

“The Wellington Community Net Trust (WCN Trust) is pleased to confirm that Wellington Community Net is to continue. A sponsor has been found who will house and manage the server and the wellington.net.nz domain name which the Council has agreed to transfer to the Trust at the end of June.”
In the run up to the next election ( October 2010), you might like to ask your local councilor why WCC took action of discontinuing funding for WCN.
