and ONLY if you are NOT heading out this Friday night on the Club’s Ruahine or Tongariro trips……… and are looking for an adventure packed Friday evening……
The Alpine club have a film festival on that night featuring 9 films on climbing, exploring, and mountain culture, the evening will have lotsof variety for the outdoor film lover. Included in the nine films, which range in time from 2 to 52 minutes, will be an adventure in the mountains of Papua New Guinea, a base jump off the north
face of the Eiger, and a fascinating look at Himalayan culture. Be prepared for lots of adventure,humour, and adrenalin.This should provide you with some inspiration to get on our clubs snowcraft/AIC and rope courses in the future, or just sign up for some of our trips if you have been hibernating for a while!!!
