Usually trampers are interested in how high the mountains are that we climb/walk/stroll over :-)
I’m wondering what is the lowest named mountain in New Zealand that we know of.
The lowest one I know is located in the Manawatu area in the North Island of New Zealand. It is a sanddune encircled with grassed farmland and its on the the road between Foxton and Foxton Beach. Mount Robinson is 89 feet high, or 27 metres high. On the older 1 inch to the mile topo map it was named, and it does have a trig station.
So, who knows of a lower named mountain in New Zealand, its height, and where?
