Join the Friends of Baring Head and Greater Wellington Regional Council for a planting day along the beautiful Wainuiomata River.

We will be planting at Khyber Pass which is approx. 1km past the bridge carpark on Wainuiomata Coast Road.
Bring along you own gloves, spades and grubbers if you have them.
Also make sure to bring along warm, wet weather gear and sturdy boots or shoes.
If you can give someone a lift (for gas money!) or need a lift, make a comment below and we can match drivers to passengers.

Getting there:
Head to Wainuiomata, then follow the Coast Rd for 16km from Moores Valley roundabout.
The planting site is at Khyber Pass, approx 1km past the bridege carpark. Please park your car in a safe spot on the side of the road.
