On 5 August at 7:30pm the TTC are hosting political types of several flavours and giving us opportunity to ask candidates in this election questions about their attitudes and policies around NZ’s wilderness areas.

Hear what Eugenie Sage (Greens), Ruth Dyson (Labour) and Paul Foster-Bell (National) have to say about conservation and environmental issues in New Zealand. Kevin Hackwell of Forest & Bird will chair the discussion.

What’s the single most important question you’d ask a government politician or a would-be government politician about conservation or the environment? Answers on this forum thread please!

A reminder that TTC cordially invites WTMC members to attend a political forum on environmental and conservation issues to be held at our clubrooms on Tuesday 5 August from 8-9pm.

Speakers are Ruth Dyson, Eugenie Sage and Paul Foster-Bell, and the discussion will be chaired by Kevin Hackwell of Forest and Bird.

There will be no entry charge for WTMC members, who will be most welcome to join us for a cup of tea from 7.30pm before the meeting starts.
