Hi Folks,
I am leading an easy grade cycle trip on 2 Feb in Whitemans Valley(Mangaroa) which is the valley to the east of Upper Hutt. I went out there today, and can confirm that this is a really nice place for a ride; it is flattish, quite picturesque, and I encountered very little traffic. Also, there is a really nice cafe near the southern end of the valley!
This trip is erroneously listed in the schedule as ‘Mangaroa River’. The ride is definitely all on the road. Medium grade riders are welcome to come on this trip, but they may have to include an extra loop. The trip sheet is now up on the noticeboard.
