Easter time the schedule lists a fit trip “Mt Bovis/Priestly”, telling you nothing about the terrain or the fun to be had in just a few weeks time.

Well I’ve done some research and found that it is possible – an amazing ridge trip, but it’s also a route that has plenty of challenges. If you check out the map K30 Punakaiki you’ll see the route doesn’t look that far, but there are a number of places where some careful route-finding would be required amidst stunning scenery.
