I have just been contacted by a guy who has a number of Rolka grass skis he wants to sell off. This sport seemed to have a phase the Wellington area in the 1970s.

Does anyone know of a youth group somewhere who would want to use grass skiing as a youth activity and may therefore need some of these skis? These Rolka skis are the more classy ones with the ‘catapillar’ tracks. All that’s needed is a grassy slope or two and the ability to repeatedly fall on grass without getting hurt.
