? Construction of the new Maungahuka Hut is planned to start in mid/late February 2006.
? The existing hut is still open and available for use by Visitors. Once construction commences the existing hut will be closed to Visitors.

The contract has been signed and the planned start date is 6th March. Once the new hut has been weatherproofed some help from our club is sought to dismatle the old hut and install the new toilet.
