Hey Guys
I am planning on heading out for a new years tramp with a couple of mates. We are thinking of doing the Mitre Loop as seen in the Tararua Adventure Guide, but are a bit concerned that the whole trail isn’t marked on the topo map. I’ve been up to Mitre Peak before, but not on to Tarn Hut or down Baldy and Barton Track.

Any ideas how well marked the trail will be? Is the info in the Adventure Guide be enough to go on?
