Has anyone done a full ‘wet foot’ descent of the north Hector to the upper forks, or is able to put me in contact with someone who has? An early 60s party reports being stopped by a “150ft” waterfall that “disappears through a well-like crevice”, and other more recent parties haven’t got below this. I’d love some info on : available anchors, length of rope used, a more modern height estimate, and terrain below this “crevice” down to the upper Hector forks. (I descended the south Hector a few months ago, so no info is required for that, thanks). Cheers Joe
