Members of Wellington Tramping and Mountaineering Club are reminded that the prompt payment deadline for membership subscriptions is 1st Feb 2017. After that date it will cost you more to renew your membership.

Currently only around 40% of the membership has renewed, and we know there are a lot more of you out there wish to remain club members this year.

Membership subs invoices were sent out by email on 07/12/16, or in paper format with your journal (if you do not have an email address registered with us). If you are a member and you did not receive the invoice contact:

Depending on your membership type, your subscription gives you:
– discounted rates for overnight trips
– access to member-only events and training courses such as snowcraft
– preferential bookings and rates at the WTMC Lodge on Mt Ruapehu
– Paua Hut access and free accommodation
– Federated Mountain Club membership (including the quarterly bulletin and annual discount card so you can get a discounted DOC hut pass as well as a number of other discounts in outdoor shops etc.)
– newsletter blog via email
– annual club journal sent out in December each year
– the opportunity to get involved in running the club! Lead trips, help out on club nights, give a slide show presentation, be on the committee…

Remember to let Jane know when you have paid your subs by emailing – it makes her life easier!
