Tonight former WTMC Prez Wayne Stevens is talking about Land Search and Rescue – how it works and what role you can play.
If you’e ever wondered what happens on searches and what you can do to minimise your chances of needing a rescue or ensure you are rescued quickly if you find yourself in need come along tonight.
Many club members are Land SAR volunteers, this is your chance to find out what they do and consider whether you have the skills and time available to apply to become a volunteer.
Talk kicks off at 8pm at the Clubrooms, doors are open from 7.30pm.
