      To mark the 60th anniversary of the first ascent of Mt Everest, the Film Archive are screening The Conquest of Everest, the official documentary of the 1953 expedition. This Thurday, Friday, and Saturday at 7 pm at the Film Archive (on the corner of Guznee and Taranaki Streets).

      This is being rescreened this Wednesday to Saturday at 7p.m., and also on Saturday at 4.30 p.m.
