For those interested in looking at the history of WTMC, I would recommend a visit to the National Library on Molesworth Street or checking out their online catalogue. There is plenty of fascinating material available for those who wish to reminisce about NZ tramping in years gone by. Below is a link to a search I performed, otherwise just enter the club name in the search box at http://www.natlib.govt.nz
Hey Harry – you could probably spend plenty of time researching the club from your glory days of the 60’s and 70’s…..and its free entry at National Library! BONUS!!

Free?! That sounds like my kind of thing!!
I don’t actually go back to the 60’s and 70’s in the club, but there might be some interesting old trip reports featuring Allen Higgins.

That looks great. I’m going to have to get myself down there and lose myself in all the old journals and newsletters! It’s good to know that the National Library is looking after our history and keeping it safe.
One thing you can do from the comfort of your keyboard is take a look at our “award winning” WTMC website, from back in 2000, courtesy of the Wayback Machine, aka the Internet Archive.
