I’m heading overseas for a couple of years so if anyone fancies a beer on Wednesday night after Andre’s gear talk I’ll be in the Hop Garden! Be great to say goodbye

Also, if you would like to look after any of my tramping gear for a couple of years (or maybe buy it depending on the item) that I am not taking then please let me know and I will bring it along to Club. Basically things that either don’t work in the UK, aren’t needed very often, weigh too much, are illegal to fly with, or I’ve already got 3 of. For example:

PLB
My old RAB winter sleeping bag. Brilliant bag with water resistant outer.
North Face down jacket. Allegedly belongs to Kate Cushing so definitely a loan for both our safety!
Ice axe
Gas cannisters
