This Wednesday is quite a special talk. Pete Laurenson is coming to talk about his stunning new book, Occasional Climber.

This is a book on two levels – on one side, it’s an alpine coffee table book of Pete’s amazing photographic journeys through tthe mountains of New Zealand, the Americas and the Himalayas. On the other, it’s an absorbing, thought provoking and candid narrative of one man’s journey to the ‘peak’ – mid life – where the hard bit, the journey back down, is just beginning.
