Hi everyone.
If you’ve not yet seen it, DOC’s initiating the revision of the Wellington Conservation Management Strategy consultation, to update the existing strategy which was only meant to last until about 2005.
The area being covered includes (but is not limited to) Tararua Forest Park, Rimutaka Forest Park, Aorangi Forest Park, and Ruahine Forest Park, so it’s more or less our back yard where the club spends lots of time.
There will eventually be a draft document to go out for more formal consultation, but before even composing this DOC has a survey where they’re asking people to comment on what’s important to them.
