      Hi Guys,

      If you are interested in learning or improving rock climbing, here is the course for you, run by New Zealand alpine club wellington section. You can contact Soctt or Blair for the registeration form.

      Content:
      The course includes four evening sessions, two Saturdays and two full weekends away. The course covers climbing technique, equipment, knots, belaying, safe abseiling, anchor construction, environmental & ethical considerations, risk identification, safety, and more.

      Saturday March 4 Bouldering & technique Baring Head
      (9:00 am ? 5:00 pm)
      Wednesday March 8 Lead Belaying Ferg?s Rock ?N? Kayak
      (5:30 ? 9:00 pm) Queens Wharf
      5pm Friday March 10 ? Seconding on multi-pitch Mangatepopo, Ruapehu,
      late Sunday March 12 natural routes, top roping, or Whanganui Bay (all Central
      belaying, abseiling. North Island)
      Wednesday March 15 Leading indoors Ferg?s Rock ?N? Kayak

      Saturday March 17 Leading indoors & anchor Ferg?s Rock ?N? Kayak

      Cost
      $350 for NZAC members.
      $80 for NZAC membership (or $60 for students), if not already a member. Non-NZAC
      members should complete a membership form and join through the National Office.
      $50 deposit is required with your registration form. The remaining fee can be paid before
      Friday 29 April.
