Don’t miss this Wednesday’s club presentation by Adam Philps titled “Wheels on top the World”.
In October 0205 (almost exactly a year ago now) four keen adventurers cycled from Lhasa to Kathmandu in 24 days. This journey took us over the highest plataeu in the world averaging 4500m, via Mt Everest’s north base and ultimately on the world longest single piece of downhill riding- into Nepal.
It should be a good one. I should know as I was there.
