Hi Everyone.

The Annual Photo competition has arrived. Entries can now be given to one of the Social Convenors – Frances, John or Lynda at a Club Night or emailed to me at

This year there is a maximum of 2 entries per category and the Categories are as follows:

1) Hut Life Portraits
2) Danger (you be the judge of this one)
3) Water (any shape or form including icesnowcloudsdripping stuff)
4) Earth Landscape Flora

The Rules are:

The photo must have been taken in the last 12 months.
The photo must have been taken by an amateur.
Photos will be accepted on all media being Slides, Digital or Prints.
The Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into!

Digital Photos can be given on a CD or emailed to
Slides and Old-fashioned Photo prints can be given to any of the Social Convenors before Wednesday 6th July.

When you are emailing your slides please provide the following information, or a note with the info if you are handing them to us.

The Competition will be held on July 13th with entries officially closing the Wednesday prior (6th July). This will allow us to arrange for the Photo prints to be scanned in so we can also show them on the big screen as well as posting them on the wall somewhere.

Prizes are to be confirmed at this stage and I will update the forum when these are finalised.

Hi Lynda,
We are always looking for new photos to refresh the ‘gallery’ at the lodge. At the last competition we selected a whole lot which are now in the lodge and we will need a few more each year to keep them turning over. At the moment we need a selection of mtb and kyaking as these activities are not represented at the moment.
