It’s time to start thinking about our summer schedule – which runs from January to end of April.

In the next few weeks we need your ideas for road ends. You don’t have to specify the trip/s, just a park and/or road end that you think would be interesting for the club to visit.

On Wednesday 21st October, we’re going to have a trip planning session just prior to club night (In the library at the back of the club rooms). The purpose of this gathering is to identify and plan trips for each of the road ends and …….. there will be free pizza! – people will (either individually or in small groups) pick a road end or two, and come up with a selection of different graded trips from each. There will be resources there on the night to help i.e books, maps, wifi – plus you can bring along your own books, maps etc.

How can you get involved?

* Email your ideas for roadends to by 16th October
(NB: You can also propose the date/month or even suggest trips if you have these ideas already)

* Put 21st October in your diary – or if you can’t come in person, you can pick a road end and participate by email.

Please put your thinking caps on so that we can have an exciting, diverse summer schedule! This is your chance to make a difference to where our trips go – and summer is our best tramping season, so please make the most of it.
