If you are interested in trail running and in Welly the weekend of Feb 27-28 Run Fest is a great event. You may want to be part of it. Details below along with a link through to the web page.
“RunFest is a weekend for trail runners and long-distance hikers. Put
together by some local Wellington folks, it’s two days of talks,
practical sessions, information sharing, trail running films and geeking
out with fellow runners.
Speakers include Heather Anderson, current holder of FKTs for
unsupported hikes on the Pacific Crest and Appalachian trails; Malcolm
Law, who completed the High Five-0 challenge in 2015, climbing 50 peaks
over 50 consecutive days; and trail running coaches, Mark Anderson and
James Kuegler.
This is something new for the trail running community and we’re very
excited to be putting it on. We’d love to see you there!
